I grew up in New England and graduated from Bates College in 2000. My first career was as an elementary school teacher. When my own children were born, I changed course, becoming a birth doula and yoga teacher specializing in pre- and post-natal yoga. I became an RN and nurse-midwife at Yale School of Nursing, graduating in 2013. My special interests are in physiologic birth, well woman care, and shared decision making. In my free time, you will find me cooking, hiking, walking my dog, or on my yoga mat.
